The Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation (SIUT) recently concluded its successful Summer Session of the volunteer program. The SIUT student volunteer program is a cornerstone initiative established in 2006. The program is open to students from various educational backgrounds, including those in 9th, 10th, first and second year of college, and O & A levels. Over 7,000 students have participated over the years, gaining valuable experience beyond traditional classroom learning.

Week-Long Immersive Program

The program includes orientation sessions introducing SIUT’s mission and preparing students for a week of learning and service. Participants are exposed to various medical fields through interactive lectures and workshops. These cover topics like urology, nephrology, dialysis, transplantation, and even robotics! Students also gain valuable skills in areas like personal hygiene and biomedical ethics.
