The Sindh Institute of Urology & Transplantation (SIUT) recently concluded its successful Summer Session of the volunteer program. The SIUT student volunteer program is a cornerstone initiative established in 2006. This program, designed to cultivate a spirit of community service and civic responsibility in young people, culminated in a heartwarming ceremony celebrating Batches 58 & 59. Open to Students of Diverse Backgrounds
The program is open to students from various educational backgrounds, including those in 9th, 10th, first and second year of college, and O & A levels. Over 7,000 students have participated over the years, gaining valuable experience beyond traditional classroom learning.
Week-Long Immersive Program
The program includes orientation sessions introducing SIUT’s mission and preparing students for a week of learning and service. Participants are exposed to various medical fields through interactive lectures and workshops. These cover topics like urology, nephrology, dialysis, transplantation, and even robotics!
